The front faces show the pattern of the Briccola wood that is characterized by the holes and stripes created by the shipworms. To frame the piece, there is a layer of natural iron coated with a transparent lacquer, which is repeated in the slender legs that raise it from the ground. The essentiality and modernity of the iron contrast with the vibrant “personality” of the Briccola.
